CONVERSATIONS IN SHADOW

In my final year of college a small number of credits were devoted each quarter to create artwork and prepare for an exhibit at the end of the year. There were two other artists in my group and once we had divided the gallery I had four separate walls on which I could display my work. I chose to work with acrylics on wood panels, and they range in size from the smallest being 6"x6" to the larger pieces which are 12"x24". Below is the artwork that I created for that show as I displayed it on those walls, along with my artist statement. It was a wonderful experience to work on something that I wanted to, and more than that to be able to display it in a gallery at the end was amazing. I never expected to have my work shown in that way and am so thankful that I was given that opportunity.
